Our last planner of the year is How We Share the Planet.  We will inquire about reusing, recycling and maintaining Earth's natural resources.

Making Ice Cream

This is our last experiment for our Matter PYP Planner.  We made ice cream without using modern appliances. Esté fué nuestro último experimento del tema materia.  Hicimos helado sin usar el congelador.

We made butter with only salt, heavy whipping cream and alot of shaking!!

Our Day at the Arboretum 4/10/12

Our day at the arboretum was beautiful! Thank you to Sami's dad, Sydney's dad, Jonah's mom, Christopher's mom, David's mom and Mickie's mom for being our chaperones.

Matter PYP Planner

Yummy! We made our own lemon soda and used the sun to heat our s'mores. The children noticed the changes in matter. We changed a solid to liquid by melting the block of chocolate and made gas from combining baking soda and lemon juice.
¡Sabroso! Hicimos nuestra propia soda de limón y usamos el sol para calentar nuestros "s'mores". Cambiamos un sólido a un líquido derritiendo un pedazo de chocolate y hicimos gas combinando soda de martillo y jugo de limón.
